I made the leap to public accounting in 2003 after a stint in private industry at American Century Investments.  I graduated from the University of Central Missouri (Go Mules)  with a major in Finance and a minor in Personal Financial Planning.  In addition, I have also participated in the Master's of Science in Accountancy program at the

I made the leap to public accounting in 2003 after a stint in private industry at American Century Investments.  I graduated from the University of Central Missouri (Go Mules)  with a major in Finance and a minor in Personal Financial Planning.  In addition, I have also participated in the Master's of Science in Accountancy program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City before passing the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in 2007. 

I have always possessed an entrepreneurial spirit.  As a 12 year old, myself and my brother (who was 9 at the time) started a lawn business and soon were lugging our lawnmowers and weed eaters around the neighborhood!  We quickly learned the value of earning a dollar and satisfying customers.  One of our customers was Kansas City Chiefs and NFL Hall of Famer Derrick Thomas which was really cool for a couple of kids in KC...sometime ask me the "snake" story! 

When I'm not crunching numbers at the office, you can find me on a golf course still chasing my first hole-in-one, attending sporting events, watching/coaching my son's sporting activities, or sitting on a patio or rooftop somewhere in KC!

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Management from Park University – graduating in 2007 summa cum laude with honors. My Master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management was earned through DeVry University. I graduated from DeVry in 2010, summa cum laude with distinction. When I'm not working, my husband and I enjoy traveling and attending local vintage car shows.

Courtney has an extensive background in many different aspects of business. Having been a small business owner herself, she brings the qualifications required to understand the daily routines and needs of our clients. Courtney is highly skilled in organization from her background, as well as managing an active household of five. In addition to being our office administrator, Courtney handles payroll and bookkeeping services for many of our small business clients. 

Aaron has a diverse background full of numerous experiences that helps him relate to most of our clients. Aaron has a diverse background full of numerous experiences that helps him relate to most of our clients. He has always had an entrepreneurial spirit and has operated his own landscaping company for over a decade. Aaron decided to scale back from landscaping fulltime because he has a passion to help small business owners be successful; he realized working in the accounting world would help him fulfill that passion. 

Aaron is currently in the process of passing his enrolled agent exams for tax preparation and is also working towards his CPA licensing by accumulating the required college credit hours.

In his spare time you can find Aaron tinkering on his vintage Chevy trucks, attending his children’s extracurricular activities and spending time with family and friends.
